Mike taught me so much when I joined Global as his ‘apprentice’ and I still think of him often. He always had a great tale and a fantastic sense of humour, although the mention of a crossload after a derig could make him go slightly red! His words of wisdom to me on my first day - ‘Now Grant, to be a good camera guarantee you’ve got to be a bit of an old woman’! Very proud to have worked with you Mike you will be greatly missed.
